Local Contractors
CAIDA staff is often asked for the contact information of local contractors. The lists below have been provided by the City of Albany and the Greater Capital Region Building Trades to help identify regional MWBE and trade signatory contractors. CAIDA provides these lists for applicant convenience and informational purposes only — reference on this site does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or favoring by the Agency.
Prevailing Wage
Pursuant to the enacted 2020-2021 New York State Budget, with certain exceptions, projects involving construction that are receiving financial assistance through the City of Albany Industrial Development Agency are subject to prevailing wage, effective January 1, 2022. April 21, 2022: Active Requests For Proposals (RFPs)
The City of Albany Industrial Development Agency is undertaking multiple market studies to evaluate current and near-term conditions and demand projections. These studies will be used by CAIDA to evaluate and retool existing programs and initiatives
